Celebrating Students Is Part Of WYXB’s Community Engagement & Popularity During Holidays
One thing we know for sure, Hoosiers love Christmas music this time of year and they know where to find it – – B105.7 FM.
Each year just prior to Indy celebrating the Circle Of Lights WYXB switches its playlist from soft rock to all holiday tunes and data shows audiences get in to it!
And enjoying Christmas music isn’t solely a passive activity with the station, thanks to the B105.7 Christmas Choir Competition! Area schools submit audio performances to b105.7.com and listeners vote on their favorites.
Winning choirs in elementary, middle and high school divisions receive a $1,000 cash prize and are featured in a special half hour showcase program to air on December 24th and December 25th on B105.7 and on a Holiday special on WISH-TV!
Congratulations to this year’s winners William Henry Burkart Elementary School, Clark Pleasant Middle School, and Franklin Community High School, who will also be part of a Holiday special on WISH-TV on December 23rd at 7pm.

Tune in December 24th at 6PM and December 25th at 10AM to listen to their incredible performances! We stopped by Creekside Elementary School, Franklin, Indiana, Franklin Community Middle School and Franklin Community High School to say hello to our winning choirs and drop off their $2,000 winnings courtesy of Franciscan Health!
