The Chicks — two conservative, professional, working Central Indiana mothers who wear lipstick and talk about boob jobs — run an edgy, conservative website http://chicksontheright.com. They are known to their followers as Daisy (Amy Jo Clark) and Mockarena (Miriam Weaver). The conservative website launched the Chicks into a weekend show on 93.1WIBC, which eventually landed Daisy and Mock into the Afternoon Drive slot from 4p-6p. The Chicks resonate, because they don’t hold back.
Daisy
Daisy has spent the last 18 years as a professional writer, editor, project manager, private sector communications consultant and part-time Adjunct Professor of Communications. Born in the Midwest and raised in the south, Daisy got her Bachelor’s degree in English and her Master of Science degree in Communications.
Daisy lives in a small Indiana town with her husband, baby daughter, two stepchildren and three dogs.
Mock
Mock is a University of Kansas graduate with a degree in psychology, but credits her brief stint working in customer service and collections as a much better education in the psychology of people than she could have ever gleaned from a textbook or college lecture. She spent her prior career working in Human Resources.
Mock lives outside of Indianapolis with her husband and is mother to two beautiful boys.
